Description

Why I suddenly come up with these? Umm it's just that in this time and days wherein the Arabic & muslim culture is endangered and misperceived, I'm touched to see some people who are still interested in it. As someone capable of teaching these people a bit about it, I shall guide them into knowing better about the culture.. Even if it's only about the fonts. Well, god taught men with a pen. What's better than first teaching them how to write first? ;) May all our bonds be strenghtened by this.

More than a tutorial, this one is more of a reference on how each abjads should look like in practical usage(linked forms) if they have any.

Empty spaces in the forms guide means that the abjad aren't capable of being written in that form.

The red marks show the chaining location on an abjad in their possible forms.

Also note that some abjads change forms in their linked forms.

Things might not make much sense here, but keep this one on your tab as a reference on linking these abjads together, of which you'll learn how in part 3. :)

Do you know of any sites that teach elementary Arabic for free? (Like starting from grade1 and going up, teaching exactly how they would teach it to an Arabic-speaking child? ^^; )
